The 'Mad Men' Finale, 'Jackass 3D' And 'Teen Wolf' In Today's Twitter-Wood

The end of "Mad Men" Season 4 threw a few viewers for a loop Sunday night. Damon Lindelof attempted to contribute to that confusion, which sounds like it was shared by Elizabeth Banks.
In theater reaction tweets from the weekend, Paris Hilton and Gillian Jacobs both showed some love to "Jackass 3D," even if their affection [...]

Mel GibsonUPDATE: It's true. Two unnamed sources close to "The Hangover 2" have confirmed to MTV News that Mel Gibson has joined the film's cast as a Bangkok tattoo artist. Now the question is: Who's getting the ink?

This weekend saw some "Hangover 2" casting news that will leave fans brimming with pre-Vegas-bachelor-party anticipation... and other news that will hit as hard as the next morning's hangover.

First the good news: Mel Gibson has reportedly joined the film for a cameo as a tattoo artist in Bangkok. Sounds like "The Hangover 2" has found its Mike Tyson (who still may or may not return).

A source told the New York Post's Page Six: "It's a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October."

This comes after last week's announcement by Sasha Barrese (who plays Bartha's wife in the film) that an "unbelievable" actor would have the "best cameo you've ever seen in your entire life" in "The Hangover 2." It's not especially unbelievable that Gibson is the man doing the cameo: Appearing in such an eagerly anticipated movie could give the PR-challenged actor's career the much needed reboot that his Jodie Foster flick "The Beaver" probably wouldn't be able to do.

It's still unclear whether Gibson will play a variation on his own personality like Tyson did or a purely fictional character. I'm hoping for the former suggestion, because nothing will be better received by audiences, in my opinion, than Gibson finally getting out there and making fun of himself.

Now that the good news is confirmed, here's the bad: E! got the scoop that Heather Graham will not be reprising her role as the Vegas stripper who stole Ed Helms' heart (and, less endearingly, left her baby in a hotel room with a tiger) in the original. A Warner Bros. rep told E!: "Unfortunately, Heather won't be in the sequel -- the way the story unfolds doesn't allow any room for her character to show up... I don't want to reveal too much of the film, but once you see it you’ll understand." Maybe it's because her honey Stu is supposed to have an awkward escapade with a Vietnamese transvestite? At least Helms, Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Ken Jeong are all back... and being joined by Gibson to boot.

Are you bummed Heather Graham won't be returning for the sequel? And is a Mel Gibson cameo just what the doctor ordered, both for his career and for audiences? Tell us in the comments!
